Very good game against a hated rival. The big question mark is will they bring that energy against the bottom feeder teams or will they flop like they have in the past.

Yeah, I thought Jones looked really good. He wasn't tested much but was solid when he was.

His footwork for a bigman is unreal, his ability to get from butterfly to vertical and get set is impressive

If Torres gets 41 games, Two Face Brown should at least get a few himself. Blood on the nose is all the evidence the league needs.

that was as close to a perfect 60 minute game as I have seen from the sharks in as long as I can remember. They gave up a tough goal early, but changed nothing in their game. The PK was revolutionized as they killed 6 for 6 giving up just the one grade A chance that Jones stuffed with amazing lateral movement. They were pressuring everywhere, all over the kings in every zone. it was quite impressive...

of course, if I have to find fault, there were a few:

1. 4 of the 5 goals were scored with one line. The scoring depth will be needed, so I would have like to see the marleau-cooch-ward line get on the board.

2. the bottom pair sucks. Dillon and tennyson looked pretty shaky. they weree -1, dillon took another minor penalty. if they have an injury in the top 4, the D could be wobbly. D depth seems to be the only glaring achilles heal the team has right now.

Anaheim is indeed a better test as they have a much better team than LA. Much deeper at D and better forwards too. I am going to the game so Im pretty psyched to watch a more premier early matchup. if they sharks dominate that game like they did this one, I will be pretty psyched!

La is in for a long season and a new coach. Tennyson wasn't bad, Dillion tried to do to much

I thought Tenny played great for his limited minutes. Dillon was solid defensively but definitely tried to do too much through he neutral zone and offensively. He needs to realize his limitations and play with in them.

He was going for the pass off the goalie pads, but dumb Quick moved his arm and leg. definitely an accidental goal

Gotta love seeing the Kings start 0-2 and look like shit In the process, granted looks like mike smith is back
