You're not allowed to think like that. That's expecting FAR TOO MUCH from the Skins and being UNREALISTIC as a Redskins fan.

Kind of true but Shark makes a great pt. In the NFL it is not about being favored or what a team should do. It is all about actually performing on the field. The Redskins just need to put out a good effort on Sunday. If they do & still get beat there is not much more that can be done. Given their injuries and lack of experience (& need for more talent) this team has done more good than bad this season.

i'm thinking we send Morris out there with a gun. we have to keep our options open.

Krush - unfortunately I believe that Morris would get tackled at the line of scrimmage before he was even able to shoot the gun.

2 in a row would go a long way IMO for the confidence of this football team. I'm just happy it's week 15, and the Redskins are still in the playoff hunt...that's an early Xmas present, and yes KC "I do like that!"

Hail to you my brothers and sisters this holiday season, it's great to be a REDSKINS fan!

Its about that in any sport far as bold goes.

I'm curious though. Far as a loss goes. What would constitute a good effort to you?

Taylor is not a good pocket passer. Cutler is a better QB than Taylor. taylor is just an athlete who can hurt us with his running. We contained Cutler, Jeffery, and Forte. We shouldn't be too scared at Taylor, McCoy and Watkins.

We have a hard time tackling and the three you just mentioned are for more elusive than the previous three.

I was watching a bit of the Bills last week amd they said Baccari Rambo has been all over the field making plays. He apparently is a really good player.

I have no idea how that happened.

Coaching would be my guess on how it happened.

Well - look at the last two games. IMO - the Bears game was a good effort. The offense & defense played well & in hindsight the TDs by the Bears are going to happen since they have some talent & you are dealing with inexperienced players on the Skins who are still learning. Effort wise - they did well.

Contrast this to the Cowboys game. Again - pretty much no complaints about the defense. However - both on offense & special teams there was a lot to be desired & the Redskins pretty much beat themselves.

I guess that overall I am saying if the Redskins minimize mistakes on both sides & at least keep it close that is a good effort. If that happens but say Watkins, McCoy, Taylor & some defenders play lights out - well - I will not complain too much. You can't ask a team to play beyond their talent level.

That's a solid guesstimation. Rambo's season stats for 2915.

This just proves that neither of these guys are really that great. Rambo's major stats are really only for a handful of games - he appears average or below otherwise - I guess we will see on Sun.

Hankerson must not have been that great or he would not have been released (unless his injury was the main factor). Speaking of him - I guess that old Kyle Shanahan is not that great after all. This is now his third team where the overall results are pretty poor. Oh well - I guess that - again - he can blame it on his QB.

To me this just proves that in the recent past the Redskins major problems are in acquisition - not in player development. They really didn't pick the rt players in the first place. We will see if all of this changes dramaticlly in the next few years.

Yeah, once I saw the numbers, Rambo hasn't been that good.

It would be nice to slip into the playoffs however none of these NFCE teams can matchup against good teams. Going into the off-season without having to search for a QB for next year is a big plus going forward.

Yep - I guess that if you cherry pick (like some did w/ Rambo) than someone like Cousins would have to be one of the top 3 QBs in the NFL based strictly on the Saints game.

Actually - the Redskins have a lot of positives heading into the offseason. Just think if Galette and Culliver are healthy next season. Ditto for lots of other players on both sides of the ball. Also add the fact that a lot of their younger players are getting valuable experience this season.

I truly believe that the Redskins could be atop the NFC-E next season & not just with some crappy record.

This is why re signing KC is so important. Not because he is on the verge of being a franchise qb, but he is the best option available to us. He is showing that he may develop into a qb that could lead a team to the playoffs if the supporting cast is good.
