But you said the stat that favors the Patriots is more significant than the stat that doesn't. Even though they cover similar timelines. Hmmmm...

Nope. One stat is important as to how they have performed, this years road games, while the other isn't relevant, past post season road games from 10 years ago.

Three of those four road losses are against Peyton Manning. The other was when the pats lost in the divisional round as a number four seed with already uphill battle in 2005. Had the Steelers/Colts played on Saturday, you better believe NE would have played harder for that home AFCCG. They would still lose the AFCCG because that was Pittsburgh's year.

If anyone is blowing out the Pats, it's probably Reid, but needless to say, that's not particularly likely to happen today.

I'd rather get blown out than by losing by a missed fg, xp or turnover. Let the route begin, or not

I think that it should be noted that in recent years, 2 of those road losses were in Denver. A place that is notoriously hard to win at just for some perspective. I look at the stat as more of a case of location. KC is also a tough building to play in for visitors. It gives the Chiefs an edge for sure. I guess we will find out tonight. I can't really visualize some blow out scenario though.

100 % right with Denver. They lost to the Oz, Ortons and Griese's , can't hang in that Mile high club or air. Elway never lost a game to NE in his career, Bronco curse

Those stats won't mean anything to the Patriots, it's the past, and most teams have it harder on the road anyway... All that matters to the Patriots is this game, right now... If were gonna look back on anything I'd be very concerned with KC's 31st ranked defense vs Brady's air game... KC better hope there pass rush show's up, and show's up a lot in this one, because Brady is gonna find weaknesses and exploit them..

Totally this.

Any past game, home or away will have no bearing on this game. Who has the better gameplan and executes it cleanly will have the most impact on who wins. As good as these team looked last week, either could lay an egg today with turnovers, and poor execution.

Lol. Pats are gonna pull something out of their asses here even if they play like crap for 3 quarters. That's just how it goes. I'll take NE by 4.

Also Andy Reid tends to choke in big games.

This season is already the pinnacle of Big 12 QB play.

I'll go with that stat.

1st he wasnt gonna win a playoff game. Well that one is out the window. (which a playoff game period is a big game)
Now for the next Choke reasoning. The big game. Although he has reached the superbowl, so maybe that will be the big game he chokes. However if you would like to spin it this way. Reid with this particular Chiefs team. He is undefeated in the playoffs.

Just like saying the Pats will lose because of 1-4 on road. (mainly against Peyton Manning who is retired)

im more concerned about what the chargers did on the road in 1997 and how that correlates to how road teams who are playing on grass have faired specifically when being 3 point underdogs in a year where they already played the home team and have beat them. THen cross referencing that with how the home team has done against divisional foes every other year since 2001, and factoring in the coach vs coach record, whether each coach is married and how hot their wife/GF is.

am i right Brees?

It's gonna be a Chiefs victory and it won't even be close. Arrowhead, Mahomes, weapons galore and Reid. I despise both of these teams but I call it like I see it. Thankfully, either team is gonna lose to the NFC Champion.

I just gotta keep saying it for it to happen. I'm good enough, I'm smart enough and doggonit, people like me.

Going to be an interesting game. The Patriots are the Patriots and you really can't count them out at any time.
