Based on history, it's most likely some game not even listed that nobody see's coming.

I'll take Georgia vs Auburn and Ohio St vs Maryland.

Notre Dame vs Syracuse in the Meadowlands. (11-17)
Irish will be coming off a home game vs Florida State and a week
before they play @USC. That has trap written all over it.

Alabama/LSU, followed very closely by Ohio State/michigan.
The Bama LSU game is only big for LSU. Bama can lose that game and still make the playoff because "eye test". Not sure the same is true for OSU vs Michigan

That's just straight up bullshit. Such games and things don't exist in a vacuum, it would all depend on what the rest of college football did.

There would need to be 4 unbeaten P5 or 3 unbeaten P5 and a 1 loss LSU so yes you're correct in that a 1 loss Bama isn't a lock but it's a close as it gets . I don't think a 1 loss B12/P12/B10 champ gets in in place of Bama

If Bama loses to LSU and doesn't make the CCG, I'm not sure they'll be so lucky this year.

Last year it took OSU getting beat twice to keep them out. Assuming they are 13-0 or 12-1 but win the B1G CCG, I think they get the nod. If Clemson wins Saturday, they run the table and are in. SEC Champ would be in. Then you have a potentially unbeaten ND and/or a 1-loss Big 12 champ, both of whom would take precedent IMO.

Realistically, losing to LSU could leave Bama without a top 15, maybe even without a top 20 win, because their only other current ranked opponents are A&M and Miss State and they're barely holding on and both have some tough games left. Bama's OOC is trash, and Auburn has fallen off.

Ahh come on milia. No way a one loss Bama gets in over a one loss Colorado. Ain't gonna happen. Nope.

Cincinnati vs USF & Cincinnati vs UCF. Back to back games.

The biggest 2 game stretch in program history. Might no equal to the old Big East intensity, but close enough.

How does Bama LSU have 42.5% of the votes? Bama is going to the cfp regardless of the outcome of that game. It’s meaningless.

LSU isn’t a lock though.

LSU and Bama are automatically in the playoffs so the only game that matters is OSU - Michigan
