At forward for the Wings i would have to pick Cleary overall. He is bringing it every night and is being rewarded nicely.

Bertuzzi has also been praised by his teammates for his outstanding work in the defensive zone. (What's a Canuck fan have to say about that!?) His laser over Budaj's shoulder last night punctuated his scoring production this year so far. He works awesome with Franzen. Scary Duo for sure.

On D I would pick Salei. Steady, Steady, Steady. And had a Beauty of a pass to Z for OT winner last week.

It's a good problem to have when you can't pick one easily.
line 2: Kesler is really a star in both ends of the rink. Would be a first liner on many teams.
line 3: Malhotra is so key on face-offs (62%) and the PK. 10 points so far doesn't hurt either.
defense: Alex Edler good defensively, big hitter, and 12 points already. Not bad for being plucked out of Swedish beer-league.

Lonnie Cameron has had a solid year thus far on the lines, and up front, I'd have to say Mike Leggo has had a really solid run of games thus far.

Letang (1st d-pairing however, so maybe he doesn't count).
Malkin. (2nd line center/winger)
Letestu (3rd line center)
Johnson (back-up goalie)

I'm not sure if Horton is on the Bruins 1st line. If he isn't, it's him

Pascal Dupuis is having a decent season thus far. He plays on the first line, but he's a non first liner.

2nd line contributions? What's a 2nd line? The Islanders DON'T even have a 1st line.:L

James Wizniewski would be your 2nd line.
which not only explains his 13 points, but his -12 rating as well.

Flyer's - Assistant Coaches....Joe Mullen, Craig Berube, Kevin McCarthy & Goaltending Coach Jeff Reese.

These four have done outstanding jobs.

Players? IMO -- Darroll Powe. The guy gives 100% every single shift, every single night. No, he doesn't put up outstanding numbers, but his work ethic and total team play is second to no one.

What is considered the Flyers first line? Hell Breaks Loose? If that's the case then Jeff Carter, Mike Richards, and Claude Giroux fit the billing of the tread title.

Blair Betts. With a penalty taking team in the Fleyrs and not having Lappy he makes up for a lot.

So true, for that matter neither is Chris Kunitz.

This is getting cliche, but the energy that Helm brings to each shift will never show up on any score sheet... usually because the sonic boom destroys the score sheet before you can write on it.
