I agree stats are deceiving when you're only looking at rankings, hence me providing the link to look at the specific #'s.
Stats from one game are indeed deceiving, but when you look at a season they are a body of work and are relevant.

I'm a bit surprised by Pass Efficiency ranking. Nebraska (w/163) and K State (w/181) were the only two teams with under 200 attempts. Nebraska only threw 3 interceptions in conference play which was tied for 1st with Iowa St. However Nebraska was 7th in completion percentage @ 59.5%. They tied Misssouri and Iowa St for 7th in passing TD's with 11 total. Only Texas, Kansas St, and Kansas had fewer..

I'd like to see a breakdown of offensive vs defensive penalties but the NCAA or Big XII doesn't distinguish.

I've heard it was about a 65% offense/35% defense split but I don't know that to be fact..

All you have to do is go back and watch when Cody Green came in and we were on the 1 yard line. We ran a QB sneak to try and get out of there and half of our line fell backward on their ass.

We outweighed them by 50lbs a man up front!!!!!
