Welcome home @NickBahe! Host of new show 11-2p on 1620 The Zone! Rome moves to 1180 Zone 2 starting August 5th.

So Local sports talk in Omaha starts with

Sharp and Benning in the Morning 7am - 11am
Nick Bahe 11am - 2pm
Unsportsmanlike Conduct w/ John Bishop and Mike'l Severe.

It just crazy that 590am had a afternoon show couldn't make it now 1620am has 11 hours of local sports talk Monday - Friday!

I know Jed Burks is happy about this news!!

I'm starting to get the itch again- used to listen all day long at work- but haven't listened at all the last year

what is great about the afternoon show. It is not always sports. Friday they talk movies. Weds. Twin Peaks girls come in studio.

Dude all they talk about is the young defense, team chemistry, and why we suck at recruiting... With some T-Magic and Bo's rage sprinkled in.

And this is said every single show: "I know people are sick of us talking about it, but this is how it was in the 90's"
It's just as bad.

You are crazy Brasky! They talk NFL, MLB, Hockey, MMA and other sports too. THey must be doing something right if they are adding more local sports talk to there station.

I still listen to the podcasts occasionally.

The drunk kid who calls in.....Superfan is his name..........he is always in tip top shape.

And then the 9 out of every 10 callers who have their facts wrong......it just cracks me up. It actually provides a little entertainment on nights after really bad losses.
