On my second trip to Zion National Park I was fortunate to see small groups of deer and big horn sheep while traveling and photographing the park. This would be a hunter's paradise.
A vacation trip here is recommended.
Temple of Sinawava. Mostly deer are seen along the main park sites.
Mt. Carmel Hgwy leading to Zion east gate entrance and Utah route 9.

Small groups of sheep visible in many locations along this highway. The first rams I've ever seen. These were close at less than 20 yards.
All are healthy looking sheep.
These animals are used to cars and people pulling over to take pictures.

The largest ram about 1/4 mile away.

The Great White Throne
Angels Landing. Many hike the 1,400 feet to the top.
