Yippy ki yay
Makes for great arguments, and ball.
Love it.

Not sure where the comparison comes from. Other than B1G has one team that has a title in football in last 20 years and one team that has won title in basketball. Big East has 3 teams that have won a total of 6 titles. AZ in 97 was last PAC 12 team to winMakes for great arguments, and ball.

Back to back titles ring any bells??The ACC & Big East dominate basketball.
With the ACC especially leading the pack now that Syracuse/Louisville brought their Big East title programs into the ACC.
Only Kentucky and Kansas have managed to break the ACC/Big East stranglehold of titles in the last 20 years or so...
Duke (3)
North Carolina (3)
UConn (3)
Villanova (2)
Maryland (ACC at the time), Syracuse, Virginia, Louisville
How many national championships has the Pac12 won in basketball the past 25 years? I can think of a single team in the 2000's to now (although I may have forgotten one). I imagine it goes back to the 90's before we can find a national champion from the Pac12.

You could make a case for the Pac-12 this season. Not so much for the Big East.Makes for great arguments, and ball.

Exactly...neither should be in the discussion! You have to go back almost as far for a Big Ten champion as well.
