Don't worry about Wisconsin. Some of the students are real assholes there, but most of the others will stick up for you. My friends used to hassle people, but then they'd invite them up for free beer and food if they took it well....even more likely if they gave it right back. The people who got all grouchy about it...ya they probably just had a bad time.
