With the Pats closing the door on the Bills, Week 8 is now in the books .. The good guys suffered another self inflicted loss to their chief rival, and the second half of the season is upon us ..

Here in our contest, we finally have some water tossed on Femurov's fire

The story goes like this:

Late Saturday night, I read the news about four Jaguar players getting into some trouble in London prior to the Eagles / Jags game .. Having been unsure of this game the day before - ultimately choosing the Jags - I made the mental note to get over to Sports SportsHoopla and add that I wanted to switch my pick to the Eagles ...

Moments later, I received a phone call from my sis, and a problem with an overflowing toilet ..

Priorities

Needless to say, I didn't switch the Jags - Eagles pick

What does this all mean ??

That Eagles - Jags game was my only loss

So with tempered enthusiasm, I crown yours truly with the Week 8 crown -- The Toilet Bowl -- with a hearty 13 wins ... Since I can remember, no one has ever scored a perfect week .. Oh well, Don Shula can pop the champagne, it's better than an overflowing toilet, right ??
