it just isn't the Skins.

The fact that Snyder doesn't like Bezos would put some extra stank on the deal if Bezos does buy the team.
I am not going to lie brother...this concerns me.

It concerns me because it still shows that Dan is in control. If the rumors are true and Bezos hasn't submitted a bid because Dan hates his guts...who else does Dan hate? Dan is so cowardly and easily offended that I can see him actually keeping the team because he didn't get the perfect owner with the perfect bid. This still shows that it's not over till it's over and if the rumors of no bid being made over 6.3 billion, I can totally see Dan keeping the team out of spite and making our lives miserable. I naively thought that the rumors were true and that Bezos/Jay Z was a done deal. I was wrong.

My concern is that somebody barely scrapes the funds together to secure the team, but doesn't have the assets to spend appropriately on the stadium, team, and coaching staff. I am starting to learn that we need (I need) to be patient here and let the chips fall where they will. There is nothing I can do about it so I need to relax.

You should be concerned. Snyder is a petulant brat. everything you mention could seriously happen. Dan has zero motivation to sell.

Seems like the public and political pressure disappeared over night.

It shouldn’t concern you. People who scrape together 8 billion dollars still have monetary savvy. The owner doesn’t pay for the stadium, the coaches, or anything else. The business unit does. Most people realize that winning brings in more money…so do named players.

Yeah, its disappointing news thus far. Though maybe Bezos is just layin in the cut trying to see who's bidding what so he can bid appropriately. Or maybe he doesn't give a fuck what happens to the Skins and he's waiting to move on Seattle when they come up for sale. I can't call it except to say, until we see something in the news verifying the Skins have been sold and Snyder is no longer an owner in any shape, form or fashion. Snyder will still have his cloven hooves in a stranglehold around the Skins.

Far as the scraping goes. I agreed with G. If someone or some group can come up with 6+ billion to buy the team. Everything else will fall into place. Don't forget at least 24 NFL owners were needed to approve a 450 million dollar debt waiver for Snyder which is what allowed him to buy out the 3 minority owners 40% share of the Skins. When its all said n done. I think that's what it will come down to, the owners. If enough of the more powerful owners want Snyder gone. They'll find a way. If they don't though, I don't see him going anywhere. Which is why getting a new stadium built is paramount for Snyder. If he manages to swing that he'll be golden n we'll be shafted.

Stadium + team = $10 -$12 billion. Dan can't afford a stadium.

I don't think Bezos is out yet. Like Snider said why bid against himself when he might be able to save a little.

I don't much care who the owner is as long as the team is run better than Snyder ran it.

Agreed on Snyder being able to afford a stadium. If he can get someone else to build it though and I know everyone has thus far told him no. If he grease the right palm or suck the right dick.................who knows.

The best place to build the stadium would be where RFK is. Great access via Metro. The next best place would be next to the river near the casino and harbor. Not good for the Metro though. Loudon or Prince William would be a traffic nightmare.

Never been to DC. I used to love seeing RFK rockin n rollin on tv though. Had I known about a bucket list back then. Seeing a game at RFK would've been on it.

I had a weird dream last night. I dreamed the whole team was dismantled, all players released and the team ceased to exist. It seemed very real where I wanted to know who picked up all the players for playoff teams. Then it turned into the stadium being imploded with people inside, watching people die one section at a time. Pretty wild dream. Just thought I would share in case anything crazy happens with the team in the near future.
