glad betts got claimed, i always liked him.. actually kinda sad to see him go, but we did have a lot of guys filling the same role

clears a roster spot (down to 49 contracts now) if couturier proves himself worthy after 9 games.. might be why homer waived all 3.. trying to get at least 1 of them claimed, to clear a spot
