i was a big Gruden detractor his first season ... but he has changed my opinion

he should be given another 3 years after getting us above .500 for 2 consecutive years for the first time in forever

He was. But he is about the only coach who could bring the defensive mentality we need, and NOT make the head coach have fears of his DC wanting to take his job.

This is exactly what I was writing about on the other thread, Do we want to win or feel comfortable with the players, coaches and such that we are fielding? Flat out, there is a lack of spine in this organization, it is reflected in management, but more important, clearly visible with the coaching and play on the field. While I agree that we should all currently hope for no more prime time games, especially, on Monday nights. We have to ask why are we are that team, that continually fails to show on national TV games or games that matter.
