I really dig Tejano música. But don't really know the names of any songs. Keep this going boys.
(Nos, that one time I went to SA, before I knew you lived there. I stayed just south of that bigass market in town(holiday Inn? I don't remember. Solid hotel whatever it was. Nice balcony over a courtyard.). There was a big Tejano música festival, was awesome.)
I was going to include the late great Freddy Fender but most of the songs that people know were English speaking songs.
I love San Antonio. I was stationed at Lackland AFB for boot camp back in '74...and for a short TDY at Randolph AFB afterwards. Also lived up in New Braunfels for a few months during that stretch too. Been back many times since. Used to party hardy down along the River walk, & go horseback riding in Brackenridge Park on weekends.
Love those Fiesta days in the spring.
Don't tell anybody on tHoop fromTexas, but it's one of my favorite cities I've ever traveled to. It's great. Prolly second when it comes to Spanish speaking cities. Barcelona is the fucking shit. If I visit better places my life will be well lived.I love San Antonio. I was stationed at Lackland AFB for boot camp back in '74...and for a short TDY at Randolph AFB afterwards.
