Best Concussion Article I've Ever Read

Is it about Sid? Sort of. BUT, it's a good read in general to educate fans on what a concussion is. Because if I hear one more slob call him a whimp, I'm gonna bust a cap.

/as an aside: its amazing the difference in the way concussions are dealt with in Europe (re: soccer). Drogba suffered what looked like a serious concussion Sunday. He was apparently out for about 20 mins (is that even possible?) and within an hour post game Chelsea team officials came out and said he suffered a "mild" concussion

That's VERY interesting stuff. This sentence was chilling, I would imagine especially for a Pens' fan.

Ten years ago, Crosby would have been Eric Lindros.

Makes you feel a little bad for Lindros.

I've said before that I really respect this decision to sit one of your best players for this long to play it safe, and no not because I am a Flyers fan and this makes life easier on us in the short run. This decision could be the best one the organization could ever make if Sid can get back to normal health and never have a recurring issue with this concussion.

It has to be really hard just sitting around doing nothing at all and feeling this helpless.




All that said, Sid is still a bitch

Always loved watching him play. He was a beast before the concussion issues.
