When healthy I think Dame and CJ are still better than the Jazz backcourt. Much of that production these days is Mitchell, although Conley is still solid. I'd roll with Dame and CJ over them.

I agree. I noted that I docked Portland points for CJ missing significant time. In a playoff series I’m taking Portland’s backcourt over Utah’s without a doubt.

What's up y'all. Put this list together quickly... thoughts?

Think 2-4 are interchangeable tbh, and left off the splash bros due to Klay's injury.

Story: Top 5 Backcourts in the NBA
Ok as long as we all acknowledge that when Klay is healthy that's the best backcourt, and it's not really all that close

It could be moving forward. Depends on how close Klay is to his former self.

CJ was playing at a very high level to start the season. Not hard to imagine a world where he has more value than Klay next year.

I like how they are too lazy to bother ranking the Spurs backcourt.

It was too difficult for them to frame.

But, they do admit it would be ranked if they took the time to do it

It’s hard to see Klay being anything close to his former self after those 2 severe injuries.

When has Wall or Durant returned to pre injury form for a full season.
At the end of this one. They are both playing very well this year.

We will see. Getting back full confidence in the Achilles takes time, even if at all. Until then players will over compensate and have get other injuries, probably how Klay got his achilles injury from over compensating for his knee injury. It's been more than a year for John Wall to be full healthy and both him and Durant have been in and out of lineup. With that said, I love Klay, he's a very underrated player, IMO, I hope comes back better than every, just not good enough to topple the Lakers.

The fact is a player like Wall or KD is never going to be the same, they can play like they did before the injury but it won’t be continuous...in and out of the lineups, injuries here and there. I don’t think there is a question a player can come back and play like he did before but it just isn’t the same. I see KD retiring earlier bc of it, it’s going to wear him down especially if he has another serious injury.
