Idk yet bro. Just saw the news but I didn’t think anyone would EVER sign him to a contract anywhere close to that. I was shocked when he opted out of his contract with the Celtics... Dude, you’re almost 45, why would you opt out of a 1 year 30 Mil deal? That’s max money! No opt outs?

Yeah, that apparently the 76ers are desperate as fuck!I was shocked as well but him and his agent knew something which made them opt out
Tobias Harris for 5/180 is simply fucking ludicrous. wat is going on.The big winner out of this whole free agency period of 4hrs is... Tobias Fucking Harris! 180 Mil?!?! There has to be a clause in that contract or like the thread title states.... BEST AGENT EVER

One way ratchet: upIt's just the way it is now. The money being offered is just getting bigger and bigger each year.

Yep, I agree 100%, but what can we do? I think nothing... It's just natural to get more and more each year.
It is not an agent success though... The Sixers are a contending team, but in order to go to the finals, they have to pass over the Bucks... To do that they need far more than Embiid and Simmons and they already lost Butler and their best shooter on J.J Redick...
They therefore had to pay Harris in a luck of an alternative answer after the Bucks extended Middleton and also had to to pay and add Hortford in a desperate hope to avoid this happening on the floor when they meet the Bucks next:
In short, one can safely say that "because the Bucks are after winning the title, everybody else is trying to buy their respective chances (the Lakers, Clippers and Rockets circuses, even more so than the Sixers or the Nets)!
