Game Thread: Bengals vs. Steelers Round 2

Meaningful football during the last week of November. Feels strange!

I'm not very confident here. The Bengals have not demonstrated an ability to handle success well, and the Steelers are normally the team that point it out to them. This feels like a disappointing day in the making. Hope I'm wrong.

Dude filling in at DB for Pitt is...not good.

He's been roasted all day long by Higgins, and whiffed on a tackle before Mixon ripped off his last long run. Tough day at the office.

Also - as has been the case going back to last year:

Either Ben floats the ball too much, or him and the WR's can't get on the same page consistently. When they do, the WR's drop balls.

I thought it true in the off-season, and I still believe it to be true - Ben should have retired. I didn't think he had enough in the tank, and in the arm, to get Pitt where they needed to go.

Claypool sure talks a lot. His team is down nearly 40 and he's out there trying to talk crap. Glad he could finally make a play against the 4th/5th DB on the roster. Great job, guy.

Phillips may be a solid return guy...but he's a trash DB...he is probably best in a zone system. Man-to-man, he's terrible. No wonder he never sees the field this year.
