Game Thread: Bengals vs. Saints

Lets get an early start for some predictions.

On paper, this is a horrible match up for the Bengals depleted and underperforming defense. Marvin is 5-9-1 after the bye week, which isn't all that shocking when you think about how well he does after hafltime.

But, the Bengals always have those headscratcher games where they play over their heads for 3.5 quarters before eventually falling apart. Given that the Saints could be a little hungover from last week, I think that's what plays out here. Look for the Bengals to lead early and often in this game and collapse late.

You can guarantee that won't happen. Hopkins will be at RG before Westerman gets a shot.

Boy...what a game to be missing AJ Green.

Saints are not very good on DEF...don't believe that #1 rushing DEF shit either. Gurley didn't crack 80 yds against them but they only gave it to him 13 times...over 5 ypc when he did rush it.

I don't see CIN winning this game unless they can get 24+ points up and get Brees on the ground at least 2 or 3 times...hopefully on 3rd down to stop drives.

It's an interesting line... Especially given that Vegas lost their ass last week by not making the lines big enough for favorites. I wonder what trends are at play here that they are so worried about.

So I can't watch this game because apparently Fox is stupid. Apparently I am in the area that can only see the Browns game. So I get the Browns/Falcons, Indy/Jax, and NE/Ten on two channels.

This happens every time the Bengals and Browns both host an NFC team in the same time slot. Good thing it's only possible twice a year.
