Now look at this breakdown of the Haskins pick 6. And tell me it’s on him

I missed this earlier and assumed bad throw but reality is it wasn’t nothing more then poor WR play and coaching from either the wr coach or the OC or both

I know Orlovsky was a pro QB but I am not in total agreement. I agree Davis could have done a better job creating a pick. The RB could have taken a wider route and made the LBer chase and Haskins throw was just horrid. The side by side feet jump shotput is not how you want to throw that. My take on it was he predetermined, forced and tried t guide the ball. It isn't a reason for us all to start stabbing ourselves in the head with a fork. The kid has to learn.

I also have to laugh at Orlovsky telling the coaches to help Haskin's. What did you want them to do. So if the split was too wide and we do not know that then they do need to coach up Davis on how to run his route but I think they were trying to give Haskin's a simple pass play. :2cents:

Beyond the possible coaching mistakes this is not that big of a deal regardless of whether it is due to the QB, the WR or both. The WRs on the field on Fri are way down the depth chart & again Haskins is still learning. The key again is will these players learn from these mistakes.
