We've lost to a lot of good teams, but the truth is that we're not getting it done. They look like they need a spark - Hopefully the return of Tez and Eifert makes a big difference.

Not trying to be 'that guy,' but I've been saying this exact thing for the last 2 or 3 years. Our drafts have been extremely overrated by pundits and we've been awesome at drafting guys who are half-contributors and not game-changers

I wonder how much of this coincides with losing quality assistant coaches. Everyone wants to paint Marvin as this talent scouting savant, when in reality, Duke Tobin runs the show and I think guys like Zimmer and Gruden played a big part in helping to find talent in the draft.

Now that it's just Lewis and Tobin, the drafts have fallen back on mediocrity.

I think Mike Brown's philosophy of wanting 1st round corners and 1st round tackles has led to a lot of misses on those picks, while passing on positions of need.

McCarron proved last season he's a quality QB. He's the #1 backup in the league hands down. He will be getting PAID next season. Good for him.

I love McCarron. I think he's going to be a very good pro. I'll be pissed if we don't trade him next offseason for a decent pick. Letting him walk for free at the end of his deal would be a huge mistake.
