Had to happen. I wish he wouldn't have made himself such a target, and I wish he wouldn't have been so injury prone the last few years. He is still relatively young and has some talent. Just not sure with his history, injuries and inability to play outside a Mike Zimmer/Paul Gunther led defense, that he was the right guy here in Cincinnati anymore.

Maybe Zimmer or Gunther take a flyer on him. You know the Raiders do not mind malcontents.

I am thinking Raiders. They are in the spending mood, and just think how wonderful of a reunion that will be when Burfict gets to be teammates with Antonio Brown. haha

Really talented, but between injuries and suspensions he was never on the field.

A fully motivated and in-shape Burfict could help a lot of teams. I don't think he's been either motivated or in shape for the past 3 seasons.

He's also be better if he cut a bunch of weight - But again, I'm not sure if he has the motivation for it anymore.

Not sure unmotivated or out of shape has given him like 4 or 5 concussions in the last two years.

I think unmotivated and out of shape has contributed to him hurting himself. When he plays tired he headhunts....

I think it was just time. we moved on from pacman, and burfict probably wasn't going to mix in the new environment well.
