Before facing the Seahawks this week, Patriots coach Bill Belichick said Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson is one of the best in the league.

Like I was saying in the season one.

We need Wrecking ball, Adams, to make Cam one dimensional because if he can Run it'll be ALOT harder. Make Cam a passer and move on

I feel as though our defense is geared toward stopping Cam this year. While we don't havea great pass rush (outside of Adams), an overagressive pass rush just allows Cam to run. If we just contain him instead and force him to beat us through the air, then we win easy. Cam is super inaccurate. We should be able to come away with a couple picks at least.

So true. See a past comment. Is he talking about Cam Newton? Andrew Luck?... Nope, Blake Bortles. Although he didn't say anything about throwing the ball.

“He’s good,” Belichick said per NESN. “He runs well. He’s a big, strong kid (6-foot-5, 236 pounds). He’s hard to bring down. He can extend plays, which is similar to quarterbacks we’ve seen the last three weeks, not counting the (final preseason) game. I remember hearing very similar comments in past Pats/Hawks games.

Patriots have the best secondary in the NFL and Russ isn't going to throw 88% and 4 TDs this week.
He's going to need a lot more help.

Cam will not be throwing the ball further than 8-12 yards at the very most. Seahawks play a strict Cover 3 and the Patriots will play underneath it all day. If the bring the 3 guys up, it'll be a race.

You realize who Rodgers and Brady played behind right? And Brady was a 6th round pick.....not like he was expected to do much from day 1.
