Listened to Chris Long’s latest podcast (Green Light Podcast....it’s very good). He had his dad on for Fathers Day. Great stories shared. One Howie shared was how happy his mom and he were for him when we won’t the NFCCG over the Vikings and his hit on Keenum was what got it started.
The part that made me laugh hard
Howie: You know, your mom and I could not even get back to our hotel? The place was nuts and the street to our hotel was barricaded off. We have to park at another hotel and walk five blocks.
Chris (who is clearly smirking from his tone) What was that like?
Howie: The god damn Purge!! And you know your mom....”who shall we say hi to?”....just hush. Keep your head down. I wasn’t sure who I might have to punch.
Where else but Philly can describe the madness after this game as the Purge, worry about who you might have to punch and still get back to your hotel unscathed? Lmao
