Took the kids sledding and snowboarding. Great packing snow.

I know you're going to doubt this, but I saw a male and female Robin pair out in my pear tree today.
I saw a Robin a few weeks ago too when there was no snow and the temp was in the mid 40's.

They are calling for 4-6" of new snow sometime between tomorrow night and Tuesday now.

Really though. Robins eat worms and bugs en sech. There isn't any of that out right now.

When I saw one a few weeks ago I rationalized it because we'd had a couple of days in the 40's so I figured it caught a prevailing wind and made it's way up too soon.

What are these two doing up here when we just had temps in the 20's, a big snowfall, and another 4-6" snowfall on the way?

They could be but HP52 pretty much convinced me they're here legit.

I do have some wild berry bushes, a couple of bird feeders, and a bird bath. The other birds knock seed out of the feeders onto the ground.

I didn't realize robins ate seeds and berries, and could tolerate cold...

They did a good job on the main streets. First time I've ever seen them pre-treat them.

I don't live in a neighborhood, so I don't know how they did in those.

They did great. GF lives in an apartment complex in a neighborhood out that way.........was just as clear as any of the main roads.
