Dont even imagine that these kind of posts will offend me, when I read the way that you and your fellow seahawk posters treat someone like Cdumler, it makes me realize that non-seahawk posters are not the problem here. Cd is easily the most decent most well informed and most positive poster that has ever been here, yet you people treat him like some rat who crawled in your back door to eat your kids food. Its astonishing...seriously. ya'll need to learn to play better with others, and stop being so shocked when people reply to all the belittling/ the bragging and chest thumping you do.

CD is a respectful poster and is the 1st to apologize when he knows he should. Yet he speaks as an authority and when I feel he is wrong, I will challenge him to it, just as he does me.
I have not witnessed anyone abuse him.

Sonny you always seem more than reasonable. I was kind of half answering you and half the rest who claim many Seahawk fans up here are indeed of the bandwagon variety.

Those bandwagon fans do exist and they are everywhere in this region. You can tell who they are. The ones that can list off 4 to 5 names of players on the team and would look at you funny if you bring up bobby wagner or cliff avril. I just don't think you see any of them posting on sites like this. They would be way too intimidated because it would be easy to expose them. Some might read these boards so they can feel smarter when talking at the water cooler, but posting? Hell no lol.

It will always be true that the real fans might not post much when their team struggles and come back when they do well, but they are still true fans.

The thing about Seahawks fans though, there have always been quite a few online. I remember the Seahawks board 4-5 years ago on CBS and it was always lively. Only a couple of them made it over here after they shut their doors and that's probably a good thing. Ask the ones that remain how impossible it was to talk to them. There were a few that make all of the ones on this site look like choir boys. We do have a passionate fan base and always have.

TY Wizard and you as well. I was on cbs for like 8 years and on here maybe 9 mos ( I took off a year when CBS folded and have never had any problems with any Seahawk fan. I never go on team boards like say Patriots because I can't stand homerism, so always on the general board. Seems like most Hawks fans live in the Wash area so what other NFL team would they root for. Just like Huskies, Wash st etc in college

I didn't post much on the Seahawks board on CBS because they didn't discriminate who they attacked for daring to have a different opinion. I did read a lot of it though because they did have some very knowledgeable posters, but it was no place I wanted to plant my flag lol. I stayed a lot more in the general boards and the college football boards specifically.

Hey you forgot to stroke my skins during the 80s...heh heh

Couldn't agree with you more Sonny. :suds:

Nice Cali I actually was at the SB that your team spanked the crap out of Buffalo. The game was at the Minn Superdome and thank goodness cause its so freaking cold there. Cool to see Art Monk and John Riggins play and your AV coaching

Kinda why Seahawk fans appear to be bandwagoners. When you don't talk, or very very little on any forum I've checked out, about the enforcer and value to that D in Kam, it questions the overall knowledge of football and fan tenure of Seahawk fans. I'm not calling anyone unintelligent or bandwagoner now. It just raises "questions". :noidea:

Sherm gets most of the media. Marshawn avoids it and is noticed because of it. We have Pete, Russell, and Percy getting attention.
All of those guys have had threads about them for whatever reason. Had someone started a Kam thread, we would have chimed in.
To me, Kam reminds me a little of Easley when it come to leveling the wood.

The top 3 of the teams in sonny's list all have to play through the NFCW and their defenses this year. If one of them makes it out with HFA they will be hard to beat, but they all could end up battered and bruised as well and not find a path to HFA.

As a fan I'm just looking forward to what will be a great slate of games this year for the birds. GB at home to open? Broncos at the clink in a regular season game? Cowboys and Giants at home? Man, this is going to be a great season for good match ups and that's what I really care about at this point.

The only game that concerns me is the skins on the road and it isn't anything about their team. We lost two key players from that simply terrible field in our playoff game there in '13. That was the worst field conditions I have seen ever. So I worry about the leg/knee injuries playing there.

You should worry about the skins in their house. If it all comes together this year, it should be a fascinating game. And it wont be because of field conditions. Too early in the year for that to really be an issue.

I dont think the Hawks are a lock for another SB.

But I fail to see any other team that has a better shot.

Since we haven't seen any teams play yet, I can see why you feel this way. Pretty useless to predict paper tigers in my opinion. Who can predict injuries, cohesiveness, rookie contributions, etc...Each year typically shows a few different dark horse teams rising to the top...

I got lucky and won 3 SB trips in a row with Chrysler. All Bills games lol First one was great with Giants. Norwood shanked the FG and then I see Big Tuna and Hoodie BB jumping up and down. LT, Carl Banks, Pepper Johnson and duo of Simms and Hostetler. Somebody offered me 2500 for the tickets back in 91 and I passed like an azzole cause I figured be a once in lifetime thing. Couldnt scalp the tickets the next 2 years

I didn't say the game itself would be easy, but a loss on the field doesn't kill your season. A loss of players due to a terrible playing surface hurts far worse. That's what I was saying.

I mean I didn't say I looked forward to those other games because Seattle would be a lock to win them. I just look forward to seeing some really outstanding competition. Win or lose they are games worth watching and getting jacked up for.
