The down side for me is how long he's been in the league.

If Burton has a revival next year then suddenly Graham looks good as the "Z" TE. If Burton gives us absolutely nothing again? Yeah, we're relying on Graham to be the "U" and that's not good.

I think ultimately they decided against doubling down big money on the TE position.

It's frustrating because I think Graham's upside is gone. However, maybe he can provide some semblance of consistent production. 50 catches 500 yards 5 TD's? With Burton also pitching in? Rodgers TE's have never really produced. It's possible he has more left than he showed last year. Ugh... yeah, it's unexciting, though.

He’s a moderate upgrade that could help make TE a strength with an improved Burton. He should help out. I’m more excited about Quinn and Foles.

Compared to where we are at with that position,its a big upgrade.....
Compared to where he is at with rest of the league.............:

JG was 18th in rec`ing yads for tes.............
He was 20th in recptions........
And 18th in targets.......
18th in targets.......?......Thats more of GB not throwing him the ball than him diminishing.........Theyre notorious for te lackluster.

And of the rec`ing yds,1 guy(jack Doyle) had 1 more yard than Jimmy with 12 more targets and 5 more recs.........

So in other words,THROW HIM THE DAMN BALL...........He`ll look a lot better in the stat dept..........
