It will be interesting to see what the Broncos have planned in the middle of the o-line.

Very glad we didn't resign him at that price. I had read many thought he would end up the most overpaid FA on the market. He finished last year ranked like 52nd among Guards in the NFL so pretty close to the bottom of the pile yet received top 20 money.

Beadles ended up going to the Jags on a 5 year deal for $30 million with $13 million guaranteed.

Shows why the Jags are such a terrible team. Paying more for Beadles than the Broncos did for Vasquez? Enjoy the payday losing for the next 5 yrs Zane.

Haha hadn't even thought about that! Anybody else notice the Broncos since Elway took over 3 years ago have added 3 players that have finished 1st team All-Pro...Year 1 we had Von Miller, year 2 we had Peyton Manning, then this past year with Vasquez. I'm hoping that tradition continues this year with either a draft pick or FA signing.

I agree that is a very high price (too high) to pay but on the other side of it that leaves a huge hole in the middle of our line.

Elway said a couple of weeks back they have a plan in place if Beadles left in Free Agency so I think they have either a plan A or plan B depending how you look at it. I think the Broncos knew Beadles would command a high price on the open market so most likely they already had it figured out what they would be doing without him.

I'm not a big Beadles fan. Great guy, average lineman. I really think he can be fairly easily replaced.

You'd never know it cause I hear him get talked up all the time as one of the better guards out there. Jaworski was knobbin' him on SC this morning. Jags are desperate to get a formidable offensive line together for Manziel, Bortles or Bridgewater, so it doesn't surprise me they dove in. It's been talked about plenty down here.

Yeah it depends who you talk to about Beadles. Some view him as a top 10 guard in the NFL others maybe top 60 kind of thing. 2 years ago he had what many considered a very good year. Now some will attribute that to having Manning an All-Pro and how fast he got the ball out plus having Clady next to him also an All-Pro that helped correct a lot of the mistakes that Beadles made. I think this past year was a better showing of his struggles when he doesn't have help around him. He just looked lost in a few games and just got over-powered. I do think he will do fine in Jacksonville as they are switching to the zone blocking scheme which fits him better.

Where does this put us at LG now though? I'm thinking this just shot way up the draft board priority list unless they are planning to try to move Clark there.

I read they would consider moving Franklin to left guard and Clark to right tackle. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me because I think Franklin has done a really good job at rt, but anyway that's what I read.

Decker and Moreno aren't gone yet! Plus wasn't Bruton a McDaniels draft pick? I don't think he'll be leaving anytime soon.

Ayers, Moreno and Decker are most likely gone, right?

And yes, Bruton is still on board. (Didn't think anyone would take the joke so technically....lol) I should have known better......
