Is it worth the watch? Started it the other night and saw its like a 2 hour movie...hard to get the time.


been reluctant to watch it because the joker one was so incredible I thought there was no way the next batman movie could top it.

Nothing compared to the second one, which just may be the greatest comic book movie ever, but still a decent movie. Worth the two hours, definitely.

The dark knight was one of the best movies ever.

The dark knight rises was a very entertaining movie, but it does not hold a candle to the dark knight. Unlike most people, I thought bane was a great character and tom hardy did a good job with him.

P.S. When you do watch it, the scene where Bruce Wayne is getting out of the pit it sounds like the people are chanting "This is awesome..... Awesome. This is awesome..... Awesome."

I believe it's worth watching. While not as good as The Dark Knight, I still think this was a solid movie. I would put this above Batman Begins in the Nolan Trilogy.

Don't judge it based on TDK. That's just unfair. Yes, Rises has faults, but I think Bane is done well and creatively and the film is definitely worth watching, especially if you're a Batman fan at all. Anne Hathaway turns out to be a good Catwoman, mostly because the character isn't so cheesy this time.

Its very good, but in all seriousness, if I am sitting down and watching it, I leave the captions on to understand what Bane is saying. If they would have left more room in that mask to understand thru his thick accent it would have been better. Once you watch with the captions and understand the words, its a much better movie. The action was great, actually watched Dark Knight at work yesterday and it seemed longer with the plot twists, but the joker is worth spending the time.

I think the criticism for TDKR is a bit unfair. TDK raised the bar so high that there was no way the third film was going to top it.

To me TDKR was a fitting ending to a great trilogy. Worth watching if you are a fan of Nolan's or Batman in general.

Bane's first fight with Batman is probably one of the best Superhero showdowns in either DC or Marvel

Liked it better than batman begins....actually thought tom hardy was a great bane. Better than the batman and robin one....
