Batman Arkham Knight release pushed to 2015

The Dark Knight’s next game, the open-world Batman: Arkham Knight for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, has been officially pushed out of 2014 and given a vague 2015 release date. Developer Rocksteady Games, which hit it out of the park with the prior two Arkham games, wants more time to get Arkham Knight up to speed.


But the news about how much the Batmobile is going to be involved in the game play is pretty sweet.


If things get a little too hot, players can engage ‘Battle Mode,’ outfitting the Batmobile with cannons, missiles, and non-lethal suppression rounds (pretty sure those missiles are lethal, though).

The Batmobile’s Battle Mode joins a growing list of interesting new features coming to Arkham Knight. Batman can eject himself out of the Batmobile and soar across Gotham, said to be five times bigger than the version in Arkham City.

The video which can go full screen at the link shows how much firepower the Bat Mobile sports = Wow. Thing is truly an urban assault vehicle.

Not sure how I feel about Batman games without Batman. Court of Owls definitely has me excited though.
