Barry Richardson?

Why did we let this guy bolt? He did a decent job last season and would have been a cheap signing. I have concerns about Roger Saffold. He is fragile and is learning a new position. Just don't have confidence in this guy like some.

Because we're trying to get younger. Richardson is serviceable on his best day other than that he struggles at all facets of the game. Barksdale is a better player at RT and younger than Richardson.

The Rams were hoping Barksdale and/or Nysekhe would improve beyond Richardson's level. I'm surprised Richardson signed a contract for $715K with no guarantees. At that price I would have signed him and released someone else. I'm guessing we were in cap trouble at the time or Richardson didn't want to come back. I didn't see the Titans first game but i'll wager he looked better than our guys.

Like I've said before I think we'll pick some one up for solid depth once teams start cutting players.
We're Fine at Guard Dahl, Smith, Williams, Jones, Barnes
And at Center Wells, Barnes, and Jones.

Tackle Long, Saffold (can't seem to stay on the field) Barksdale and Nysekhe......Now thats scary.

I don't think they'll be playing against GB but probably be brought up to speed in the last two games. Best thing is those two players are only going to get better.
