Dynasty PPR 12 team. Wow a tough one to make a offer on this early in the season. Hard to trade away a key piece. I offered Akers and a second round for 2021. I won't trade Barkley for that, but I won't put him on the block this early in the season either. What would you trade for Barkley? I also own Jonathan Taylor but won't trade him as I'll need him in the line up.

Barkley is an impossible value to figure out... this is 2 seasons in a row missing because of injury... even though he came back last season and finished strong... But another missed season, he will be a year older, and injuries don't help the RB aging process...

I didn't your post but when I looked at your roster I immediately thought...why not offer Akers. I mean he could be a bust...we don't know if Barkley will ever be the same but it's worth a shot. If Akers turns out to be a bust you don't lose any value.

What Qb's does he own. Maybe if he isn't that strong he would consider Minshew..

My thinking also.

You don't know. Part of the problem on how to value him. Hate to see him go cheap to a good roster, so I made a offer.
You gotta make a play , absolutely. But you can’t value him at his current “healthy” price. Absolutely worth a gamble. Even if he comes back not. Himself. He should still have a massive workload. But he’s on That rookie deal , interesting if they don’t pick up his option...0

I'd say Akers and a #2 would be about the upper limits of what I'd offer too. Could maybe talk me into Akers and a 1, maybe if threw his #2 or something. But, yeah, can't overpay when you have zero clue if he'll be the same. He definitely falls into a high risk category for me, along the lines of SP's thoughts. Hes not a break tackles, move the pile guy, hes the shifty, force missed tackles guy, and thats extremely tough on knees

Thanks wanted the feedback. Guess it depends how big a fan of Barkley one is. Can't afford to go much higher. Might consider doing the first for a second as a counter. Mostly don't want anyone to get a bargain price on Barkley.

I've never been SUPER high on Barkley with that injury risk. Said it before, if I was at #2 I will take Zeke 99 times out of a 100 over Barkley. I just didn't get how you can see more upside when Zeke seems to be always healthy, get a big workload and he led the league in yards twice .

OK but did you have him top 5?

I think u have a nice starting point. And see if u can get some dialogue.

he had some really crappy wide receivers too. Maybe tack on hamler...just since he’s a rookie....

I have a dialogue. I said it's a tough one to know how to value. He replied same for him as a seller. LOL. He didn't comment on the offer, which I think means he's considering it. He's going to wait and see what others offer though.

Yeah, that’s perfect. He’s gonna hbe to decide he put it out there, he’s likely not gonna get what he thinks. But his team isn’t great and has a lot of TEs. I only brought up hamler, because he’s likely the 3 in Denver... when Sutton is healthy, and he’s behind Patrick now. He’s a very nice player. But his situation limits him. Plus
Lock went down. But he had. Litte “hype” I’d be willling to market him as an upside rookie on a team looking to rebuild....to take the chance u get Barkley for next year...and use him as “sweetener” when he decides he doesn’t wAnt Akers and a two.... r u gonna be super mad if u lose him

The owner who put him on the block may be the genius here?
Ironically, ESPN radio had a preview segment on Saturday and they were sharing some no-so-flattering stats on Barkley.
How do we know he isnt affected by this injury once he is healed and returns?
He may not want to fight for extra yards?
