KC won't be and their schedule, especially at home, is just a bit too easy for them not to be shaken up in the playoffs. Does a first-round bye mean anything when you face the Falcons and Chargers at home before it and haven't played a single playoff team at home all year?

If Baltimore were to be second in their division, they could face Buffalo(or whoever wins AFC East), KC, and Indianapolis or Pittsburgh in the playoffs. They should make the divisional and would have a chance to knock off KC(they were going to have to anyway). That will give them the motivation and confidence to take care of the AFCCG.

As a 2 seed, they get by whoever is the 7 seed (likely a 7-9 or 8-8 team) and then face two of Indy/Tennessee/Pittsburgh the next two weeks at home or one and then KC. It's not going to matter where they play Pittsburgh either. Pittsburgh plays down to teams a lot but they certainly won't be playing down to the Ravens. But Baltimore probably won't get over the hump this way.

Also, Baltimore's last two SBs involve winning as a road team.

YES!

A 1st round bye means no-one can beat you that day, even if it's their best day and your worst day. No referee can screw you over. No opponent can take out your QB with a late/cheap hit.

2019 is over...Ravens had a great season, ended with a dud.

They need to focus more than that dud than anything else.

What Baltimore needs is for LAMAR JACKSON to learn that he must be able to perform from the drop-back qb pocket. None of the run up the gut qb's in the history of the NFL ever achieved the ultimate prize....not CUNNINGHAM....VICK.....or KAP .
Titans bottled "rabbit run" jackson up and exposed the fact that he was/is not a fully functional qb. When he humbles himself to become a complete qb ...and not one with a one-diensional approach to playing the position....then Baltimore will succeed.

Well, thank you for that. That's a great weight off me mind. Now, if you wouldn't mind telling me who the fuck you are, apart from someone who feeds people to pigs of course?

Pete wanted to pass on 2nd down, which is the right call, btw and anybody saying they should have handed it to Marshawn is a moron ( queue Chris Collinsworth here) but the OC over-thought the thing and gave the call for a slant to the #3 (or 4) WR. It's been stated a thousand times and argued ad nauseum and it's stupid. Pete's decision, his blame, plain and simple. PC has said all along that it was his choice. Now let's just forget the thing. It doesn't matter.
