I thought today was basically just Beta access? While I would be thrilled as hell to get my hands on it today, I would be slightly bummed to have it come out so close to Cyberpunk 2077

Its released as early access. No future release date given... basically they just arent officially calling the game “Done”. They will just iron out any bugs and create an expansion or different ending for it down the road.

I'm not complaining too much but it almost seems more like Divinity Original Sin 3 than Baldur's Gate 3.

Thats probably why they picked those developers. Its not accidental.

Oh its a great series. Baldurs Gate 2 is often named as one of the best RPG's of all time.

The original Baldurs Gates just blew people away when it first came out so it's worth playing but Baldurs Gates 2 is definitely the better game.

I'd start with Baldurs Gate 2 and then play Baldurs Gate 1 and the addons if you liked the game

Imogen is in the 1st 2 although I don't remember the order.

I am, it is the best game I have played in years. Some of the characters quests don't get a satisfying conclusion, and it has a few steamge bugs.

It is extremely easy to break, but that is because they allow players to do just about anything.

It is extremely easy to break, but that is because they allow players to do just about anything.

It took me a while to understand how the game was different than the 1st two but I'm getting the hang of it and I like it! There are game crashes periodically loading and saving games that drive me batty.
