It's preseason so stats don't mean that much. I was very impressed by his ability to shift around in the pocket and keep his eyes downfield. Accuracy looked good. Decision making looked good. I think he definitely showed the attributes you want from a number 1 pick QB.

Yeah, he's tough, but the speed and power in the pro game are exponentially greater than what he faced in college. He simply won't be able to scramble as much as he did, nor will he have the time in the pocket he enjoyed at Oklahoma. He's got to learn to get rid of the ball or he'll spend a lot of time on IR

He’s missed all of 2 quarters during his 3 years at OU. Which is only because of a dirty, flagrant late hit to the head by a kid that got ejected for TCU. And that’s all while playing several teams with NFL talent all over the field. Tennessee , Ohio State twice, Auburn, Georgia. Carved most of those teams up with the exception of Ohio State the first game they played. You can accuse him of several things, but not being tough shouldn’t be one of them.
