Well...he is in CLE regardless of what Bozo Coherd says.

Truth is, he's not yet, but if he ultimately develops into a consistent winner he'll be a god in CLE.

Yep, he is looking good so far but a handful of games does not make a franchise quarterback

True, but it’s also to early to count that out, either.

Haters gonna hate, regardless of how ignorant they look...

Agreed. Calling any player a bust before they've even taken an NFL snap is stupid but the Talking Heads have to come up with stuff to talk about...

As good as he's looked this season, it's amazing to think of what he'd look like had he not had Hue Jackson and Todd Haley for his first 5 starts.

You could capitalize that. God.

I've always said that Kenny Lofton could run for mayor of Cleveland and win. Lee Brown James, despite ripping Clevelander's hearts out in a humiliating way, is very highly revered after coming back and winning a title, even though he subsequently left the Cavs in shambles.

But this is a football town. If Baker Fucking Mayfield is big part of a Browns resurgence/championship, I can't even imagine how popular he'd be around here.

Generally speaking, you're right. But compared to the shit that the Browns have been putting under center for decades, Mayfield looks like Joe Fucking Montana.

Why not all caps then GOD! lol

Not to take the thread sideways...I might dig that thing out one day, (I have a team plaque pic with him) Kenny Lofton (Yankee at that time I think) was our "celebrity" golfer one year in a charity golf event that Art Shell ran for several years. He could knock the crap out of the ball as you might imagine but he wasn't that good...cocky bastard iirc.

It's not my style, but I'm fine with Mayfield, being Mayfield...idk if he'll ever do enough to warrant #1 overall, but not many do so that's not a slight. He clearly has the goods to be a good QB. Dorsey saw something that I didn't.

What would Cleveland’s record be if they cut the cord sooner?
