I actually laughed when I heard that on TV, that he said that.

If the Giants win 6 games under Jones he should be ROTY LOL
he has looked good in preseason. I might add better than Mayfield did at this stage.
I know, I know its preseason. But it is all we have to judge off of so far.

Mayfield will do good things in Clev. but I wonder if he will ever learn to shut his arrogant mouth. (will he grow out of it)

Kid is a complete asshole. That Browns team has so much ego that hasn't accomplished any winning at this level. If they hit a prolonged skid this season they are all going to blow up on each other. That's why I can't buy into the Browns being some force this season despite their talent.

'moral character' doesn't seem to be any part of his evaluation process. My guess would be the Browns probably need to succeed in the first year or 2 or, as the pressure builds, they will implode within themselves.

physical talent, absolutely. i agree. if you look at the rosters he has built, they are very impressive. Personalities don't seem to matter much to him, though, and that can eventually come back and bite you (see Kareem Hunt and Tyreek Hill).

Sometimes it is difficult to determine if a player will be a problem.

Mayfield should worry about the Browns instead of DJ, and its a team game; Jones never played defense to make a tackle or have to kick a FG, or catch a pass or make a block

all i will say about Dorsey's current QB choice is that Baker needs to be careful and hopefully get some guidance from smarter people around him or he will end up with the same type of career as Jay Cutler, Jeff George, and other 'talented' QB's that ended up nothing more than journeymen who could never really establish themselves in an organization because of their personality quirks.

Jones was a great pick by the Giants. He will be one of the better QB's in the NFL.
