Bad news on a good night

So here I am, feeling good about the Bruins win, when I see I've got mail. It's from the sister of a friend who I haven't seen in over 30 years, but I reconnected with his sister on Facebook less than a month ago. Her 20 y/o son passed away unexpectedly this past Sunday. hockey just doesn't seem too important right now.

Bad juju abounds.... I just got word yesterday about my cousin, who has battled drug addiction for most of his adult life, he's 30 now..Let's just say he fucked up bad this time...I'll be thinking about you guys, family and friends, and all...stay strong....better days are coming...

I am so sorry to hear that Wayne. The thought of losing a child chills me. I have had dreams of of that happening it wakes me up in a cold sweat and I go check on my kids.
