Once again, its a disaster. Not sure how a team with 200 million plus payroll can't get a solid #5 starter. I wish Ned would realize that Beckett is washed up and stop throwing him out there. I don't think Billingsly will be the answer either. We can't find a healthy #5 starter to save our lives. Zach Lee might have to be brought up. I am just not sure that there is another answer. Fife nor Magill are good solutions either.

They need to get it figured out for once.

Clayton Kershaw will be back soon. So will Chad Billingsley. Not sure what you're so paranoid about.

Have you seen the rest of MLB's 5th starters?

Somehow the Dodgers will come through. Certainly looking forward to seeing Clayton back on the mound.

All we need is one more pitcher. It'll be Kershaw, Greinke, Ryu, Haren, and then whichever one does the best out of Beckett, Maholm, Bills, Fife, or Magill. I have to believe that one of them will separate themselves from the rest, and lock up the end of the rotation. We should be much more worried about a consistent bullpen.

I think Billingsley will eventually be that guy.

And again, the back end of the rotation is unstable and we lose those games. We can't have 5 aces on a team, but for heaven sakes, we are sending career Minor League pitchers out there and asking them to win the thing for us. Why not call up Zack Lee and be done with it? I highly doubt he gets much more polished in hitter friendly AAA with the Topes.

Its very early, almost too early, but the same things that plague us are starting to creep up again. We will need to upgrade the bullpen and back end of the rotation come trade deadline again. Hopefully we don't sell off the farm to do so.

With Ryu banged up and Kershaw out, the starting 5 is a little thin but nothing to worry about. The starters have been a bright spot.

What's wrong with the back end of the rotation? Haren, Beckett, and even Maholm have been fine
