Judge smashes a slider hanging middle-middle.

Yeah, he absolutely pissed on that ball

Losing five of six games at home is not the sign of a good baseball team.

This divisional lead of theirs is gonna disappear quicker than the last beer at a frat party

I just made reference to that. What a pathetic display of shitty baseball in front of 35,000+ fans packed into the ballpark for six straight games and you lose all but one of them.
I think it speaks to the truth of who we are. We are good enough to contend for the division in the weak west, but we are a tier below the real playoff teams. Really nothing new for the last 3 years or so.

Win 9 series in a row to 2 series losing streak.
What's bullshit with this team is a couple of clutch hits they could have taken 2 of 3 from NY. Dumbasses
The first 8 of that streak were against teams at or below .500 and it took late game heroics to beat the A's in that series.

They had a chance to do the same against the Yankees and came up short.

The better teams have more talent that can fill in well enough for injuries. The M's can barely field a solid team when fully healthy. They can't afford all of these setbacks to their pitching staff.

That they won all of those series with all of these injuries bodes at least slightly better than last year when they were losing often to mid tier teams, but if they can't get healthy it will be another season of baseball being over by the time fall camp opens for the Hawks

This graphic of the next match up tells you everything you need to know about why the ESPN prediction gives a nearly 2/3 advantage to SD for the game.

Just three years?

This has been the standard since Piniella left.

I picked three years because we were more than a tier behind the real playoff teams for a long time.

That's the issue of not adding 2 solid FA hitters.
