B10 officiating is horrible

The refs are human ... and like the players, they are going to have good and bad days. I understand the job of officiating a football game enough to know I couldn't do it. If you think you can be a better referee then apply for the job. If the officiating is that bad, the proper people know and will handle the situation.

Yes, the refs are human. But that doesn't excuse the constant failure to properly do their job. Fans and teams are allowed to have standards. We shouldn't have to chalk everything up to human error. I think it's fair to wonder why Michigan's D-line has only been given two holding calls in 2 seasons of B10 play. I think it's fair to question things like that. That goes beyond just 1 human mistake, or even a couple. That's a systemic problem that's now been happening for two years.

It's funny how only OSU fans are here. You guys are so self centered that I can't even complain about 18 games of B10 play in the past two years without you thinking it's me blaming the refs for this past loss.

I don't know what kind of coach or AD you think Michigan has, but I trust them ... when you have their job ... they pour over countless hours of film. I think they are competent enough to handle the problem, if there is a problem.

I think it's a reasonable concern when looking at it from a whole. I've heard rumblings about it all season and have complained myself. I just didn't realize it was that bad.

88 camera that way we can have 4 cameras on each player and have a good angle on everything.
After each play there is a ten minute stoppage so each play can be examined in super slow motion by each official and make sure there are no missed calls.

It sounds like your complaining, even though you say your not. In communication it is never what you say, but how the audience receives it. Would you have started this thread if we beat ohio state 48-3?

I do think technology could be implemented to then limit what the refs are looking for; the judgement calls that need to be made. Technology could easily be used to show where to spot the ball, if players stepped out of bounds, if players had one foot down before the other, if a player broke the plane of the goal line -- and so on. So the 8 guys on the field are looking for things like PI, holding, and procedural penalties.

Whether you intended it or not, nearly everything in your original post related to how OSU benefits from the refs more than Michigan. You also posted a vid of a huge play from the game that you believe the refs perpetrated to screw your team. And you wonder why Buckeyes show up to discuss?

As it should be ... my thoughts exactly. We must sharpen the warrior's edge, the the battle must be fought on the gridiron. To fight it afterward is a waste of time and energy.
