Austin or Boldin

Standard scoring with points for td returns but not for return yardage. Trying to decide who to start in my 3rd wr slot have Anquan Boldin, Tavon Austin, Alshon Jeffrey, and Cordarrelle Patterson as options.

I've been leaning Austin because i'm not really sure if Cap and boldin have had enough time to gel and I don't really think Bradford has a better option atm.

I'd go Boldin because I've seen Kap and Boldin play well together in the preseason, and because I think the 49ers are going to stomp the crap out of the Packers like they did twice last year...but I'm slightly biased lol.

Bradford's had even less time with Austin, and I'd say the Rams actually have the better options, and Bradford is familiar with at least a couple of them. And Austin doesn't know the league yet. I'd go Boldin for sure, at least Week 1.

Agreed. I think you should play it safe and wait to see what you have in Austin. He might emerge as an every week starter in the future, but it is really hard to predict with rookies. You know what you have in Boldin.

I haven't been looking at the Rams too much, but is Austin returning kicks and/or punts? I would throw him right in with the wolves, with hopes of a return TD to kick off his career! I don't think you have a "safe" option there, so I'd go with the unknown upside. I don't see Boldin having his 2012 playoff run until December or the playoffs.
