BTW, decade? We have had 10 win seasons the past decade (2009, 2010, 2012)... you know, still more than Iowa (2015 and 2009) and again, this is our worst decade in the past 60 years.

I
O
Who?

And in case you weren't referencing Nebraska... Northwestern, UCLA, Utah and Stanford have all had 10 win seasons the past decade. Furthermore... Nebraska, Northwestern, Utah and Stanford have all had more 10 win seasons within the past decade than Iowa.

I wasn't talking about Frost. I think he is a good coach, he just has to deal with Riley's players. Shaw is underrated in this rankings. He's Top 10 IMO. Fitzgerald should be highest ranked coach in B1G West right now. I missed that 1 season Utah got 10 wins.

Whittingham should be 21st.

Iowa has beaten Nebraska the last five out of six times they've played. Firentz must be doing something right.

Oh, well than I can agree that Fitzgerald is the most handicapped and thereby, what he has done has been fantastic.

Shaw can be counted in a similar light, only difference is that Stanford hasn't been an entire doormat throughout their history, whereas Northwestern has. Which is why I would give Fitz the nod over Shaw.

Oh and @AlaskaGuy

Iowa had 10+ wins in 2012 as well. Iowa went 12-0 and didn't lose to anyone that finished unranked and beat 2 that finished ranked. Utah lost to 2 that finished unranked and beat 1 team that finished ranked.

Iowa had 10+ in 2009 as well. They actually won 11, but they did beat 3 teams that finished ranked and went into OT with another. Utah was a mid-major then. They beat Oregon in Autzen, that is big, but they lost to the 2 ranked conference opponents.

And I bet Ferentz is better at developing NFL talent.

Hey, I am simply putting out facts. Utah, Northwestern, and Nebraska had three 10 win seasons the past decade. Iowa and UCLA had two. Stanford had way more than the others. Breaking down the schedule is irrelevant to your point of...

"Guess which one hasn't had a 10+ win in the past decade?"

Utah may have been G5, but then that goes to say that they had G5 talent in most cases. Whereas Iowa had P5 talent, or at least moreso capable of attaining P5 talent.

Not sure where I would rank the two, but I'd have Chip Kelly ahead of Chris Petersen.

He's accomplished more at the P5 level and in the PAC 12.

Kelly will have to do poorly for at least a couple years before I'd put Petersen above him.
