Atari E.T. game to be dug up

The hunt is on for a rumored cached of what some deem the worst Atari video game of all time.

Atari purportedly disposed of millions of game cartridges and other equipment by the truckload at the landfill. The area's supposed role as a gaming burial ground has taken on urban-legend status over the years.

Considering that the game was on Atari 2600; it wasn't that bad of a game.

Read the thread title. Thought:"That was the worst fuggin' game I ever owned." And then opened the thread to discover I wasn't alone. Hopefully they just bury them somewhere else. Dig up some Centipede, Pitfall and Keystone Kapers man.

Here are some games that were worse than ET.

Jeckyl and Hyde - NES
Superman - N64
Fester's Quest - NES
Deadly Towers - NES
Super Bowl V
Nolan Ryan Baseball - SNES

ET was probably the biggest failure due to it's hype but, it wasn't nearly as bad as the ones mentioned above.

Lol, I remember playing that. Along with that baseball game with the pitcher, who covered the whole field, against a batter.

i didnt mind this game because i was a kid. it was easy and mindless. then again i used to play adventure too.
