I've always been amazed by Ted Williams' career .496 on base percentage at Fenway Park...

Dude was on base every other at bat.

Feeling lazy... anyone know other crazy stats from one ball park?

Wow I didn't know that. Career OBP was .482 so it's not the anomaly you might think.

The other one I know is Stan Musial having 1815 hits at home and 1815 hits on the road

Always thought it was funny that Yankee Stadium's short RF porch was designed specifically for Babe Ruth's swing.

But he only hit 259 of his 714 HR there

That's because he hit 197 of the 714 before Yankee Stadium opened in 1923

Take away those and he hit 259 of 517 HRs there (pretty much exactly half)

Yeah he hit a bunch in the Polo Grounds. You wanna talk about a short porch!

Just funny they called it the house that Ruth built, but a shit ton of players have hit more HR there than him.

Reminds me of the Jon Bois Mariners episode where the Kingdome gets demolished despite being tailor-made for Griffey Jr
