Do you think Craig Biggio's son will continue his father's tradition of openly joking in the locker room about doing 'roids? Is Clemens telling his son not to do it?
I had no idea Biggio and Clemens had sons together.
But to answer your question, the cycle of drug abuse in that organization runs deep as you well know. Jeff Bagwell and Ken Caminiti were in the thick of it too.
The Padres tried desperately to help Cami with the drugs. The Astros looked the other way, just like they did Bagwell, Biggio and Clemens.
But it's really the same thing....I mean, the Yankees "desperately tried to help" guys like Gooden and Strawberry with their drug abuse, but one can certainly argue that they looked the other way when it came to roids. The same could very well be true with the Padres (things like cocaine etc are looked at differently than roiding).
Yes, it could. But it's not. Nice try though.
You're a Yankees fan. You probably shouldn't post in a thread about 'roids.
So being a Yankee fan means I can't be objective? You know, I show less bias on here than you do (with your irrational hatred for certain athletes).
Kevin Towers admitted he knew about Caminiti roiding and looked the other way. If you think he Pads did something about roids, then you're being quite naive. Of course they'll turn a blind eye to roids when his roided up production was helping the team.
