9/5 Oklahoma welcomes the new Coach of Missouri State, Bobby Petrino. Not sure why we have this game scheduled, and hope it was a last minute replacement game, because a team cancelled.

9/12 Tennessee comes to Norman. I have no real idea if their Head Coach is something yet, but they probably have the athletes to win this game. I just don't think they do.

9/26 Oklahoma is giving a return game @Army. We will have a better defense then the last time we played.
You never know about games like these.

Then 9 weeks of Conference Play.

I'm thinking 3-0.

.

Who else.

NDSU - Should be a win, but we've seen plenty of teams fall victim to the Bison. If nothing else, NDSU will fight hard which (barring injuries) will be good before....

Ohio State - Easily the toughest game on Oregon's schedule. Only give the Ducks about a 10% chance.

Hawaii - Should be the easiest of the 3 games IMO as Hawaii is breaking in a new coach.

Iowa State:

South Dakota (FCS) Win

@ Iowa (B1G) Toss-Up. Iowa will probably win, but the Cyclones have a solid chance. Sheesh, Coach Campbell has already beaten all of the other Big Xii teams, but beating Iowa has been a tough nut to crack.

UNLV (MWC) Win

USC

9/5 - Alabama: I wish we would have scheduled a little stronger opponent. I realize that it's the first game and most teams schedule a cupcake for that game. But this is barely a step above scheduling an FCS team. Win

9/12 - New Mexico: This is a very important game to gauge where the program is. I don't expect a win, but if we can keep it reasonably close, or somehow pull off the upset, it would create positive momentum for the rest of the season. It would also help us hang onto the the excellent 2021 recruiting class that we have so far. If we get blown out, it could lead to a long season and we could lose some of those 2021 recruits. Loss

11/28 - Notre Dame: This could be an interesting game. USC could be going into this game looking to cap a really nice season with rivalry wins in consecutive weeks...or we could be looking to salvage something from the season. I think it'll be the former. Win

Projected record: 2-1

**Edit**It has come to my attention that I may have accidentally mixed up my posts on the first 2 games.

You really want ours? It ain't bad.
9/5 - Texas Tech - Red Faders in the Sun Bowl
9/12 - @ Nevada - Biggest Little City in the World
9/19 - @Texas - Whoop that rusty cow butt and then tear up Sixth Street
9/26 - New Mexico State - Battle of Interstate 10...even if it is a pillow fight!

Missouri

Central Arkansas: Win

Eastern Michigan: Should be a win but it's Missouri against an upset special. Odom would've blown it.

BYU: Toss-up

Louisiana: Should be a win.

Ohio State

Bowling Green. A down year for them in the MAC. It'll be over by halftime.

Oregon. If played, it should be a good game. This one is on the road before a hostile crowd, so an excellent test to see what OSU is really made of. OSU by 7-10 points.

Buffalo. Predicted by some to win the MAC East, they should provide more of a test than Bowling Green. Still, the reserves will be in by the middle of the 3rd Quarter.

USF. Not a very good team. Offensive problems. Texas should win big.

LSU. This one is away and the Horns will be the underdog. Game could be close for awhile, but I like LSU by 10.

UTEP. It's UTEP, so this one doesn't look close.

Boise has Florida State, BYU, and Georgia Southern at home and Marshall on the road. Tough call between 3-1 and 4-0. If I absolutely had to call it 3-1 is more probable with Florida State being the toughest match up and most likely loss.

ALABAMA

9/5 USC - This one will be close for a half, then depth will take it's natural course.

9/12 Georgia State - Uggh, are they still running the option? They beat Tennessee last year and played Army as well as Oklahoma did, but I don't see a loss here, it won't be a thrashing though, 35-13.

9/26 Kent State - Saban's Alma Mater comes to town for the week after Georgia. I expect a lot of resting after the Georgia game and a lot of players on the field whose names are being said on air for the first time. Saban doesn't try to embarrass and this one is 40-14.

11/14 UT Martin - Sandwiched after LSU and and before Texas A&M & Auburn, I expect this to be exactly what people say it is, a bye week. 56-3.

That's a really quality schedule. Has a chance to be 4 bowl teams. Stinks you caught FSU in a down swing.

Texas A&M
9/5 Abilene Christian-Tom Herman's Alma Matta should trounce them.

9/12 North Texas-Last meeting between the schools was in '98 A&M won 28-9 against the Mean Green . North Texas fired both coordinators after going 4-8 last year. While Litrell is a good young up and coming coach he lost a bunch of players on both sides of the ball don't see North Texas hanging with A&M. Ags win by 30.

9/19 Colorado- Win Colorado is starting over again as Karl Dorell takes over for Mel Tucker who left for Michigan St.

10/10 Fresno St. Expect our starters to pulled out in the 3rd so they can rest up for Auburn. Win
