in his 2 games back with the iron pigs. He belted a HR today, as well. I think he needs to be promoted tonight! Also Rupp must've heard about Nieves probably going to the DL...he had 2 hits and 2 rbi's...which is big for him, he has had a horrible year so far.

Noooo Westcoast. Asche has to remain with the Iron Pigs for at least two more years to get the proper Phillie "taining". I thought you knew that?

There's no way he can sustain that average in the big leagues. I'd be surprised if he even hit .450 with the Phillies

I hope he is right too, Brignac has actually been pretty decent overall, but I think in the long run Asche will be far superior. I wonder if the next GM will see Asche as the heir to Chase with Franco at third.

First, Franco needs to hit...he forgot this year and lost his power. Seems like he is suffering from Domonic Brownitis.
