As we evaluate and search for hitting...what do you guys think the average OPS is this year?

No fair looking it up, just saw it on MLB TV

It's lower than I thought. It puts guys like Yaz and Chapman and others in a new light to me.

Doesn't take much to be above average in OPS

I knew it had to be lower because I keep reading about guys who are having average to slightly above average seasons and their OPS surprises me. Remember when .800 seemed like the baseline for good hitters?

I hope that is how the Giants' brass sees it. Or they at least try to trade him instead of nontendering him.
